Dr. Simon Chew

DR. SIMON CHEW

Colorectal Surgeon

Dr Simon Chew obtained his MBBS (Honours Class 1) in 1992 from the University of NSW and gained the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2001. He was then selected by The Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ) into the colorectal training programme for 2 years (2001-2002). Dr Chew has been a Clinical Lecturer and Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of NSW and the University of Sydney respectively.

He has been a practising Colorectal Surgeon for over 12 years and currently operates at Norwest Private Hospital, Westmead Private Hospital, Nepean Private Hospital and Strathfield Private Hospital.

Dr. Kim Loh

DR. KIM LOH

Colorectal and General Surgeon

Dr Kim Loh obtained his undergraduate medical degree with honours in 1997 from the University of Sydney. He went on to undertake surgical training and successfully completed and obtained his Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2006. He was appointed as the Surgical Superintendent in Westmead Hospital in 2006. Since 2007, he has held VMO positions at Blacktown, Mt Druitt, Norwest Private and Westmead Private Hospitals. Dr Loh is well trained in general and laparoscopic surgery, with a special interest in colorectal surgery. He has also received training in robotic surgery. He is a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and is qualified to perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

Dr Loh is also conversant in Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay/Bahasa.

Dr. Eva Wong

DR. EVA WONG

Head and Neck Surgeon

Dr Eva Wong is a Head & Neck Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist at Westmead Hospital. She is a staff specialist in the Crown Princess Mary Westmead Cancer Care Centre and Visiting Medical Officer at Blacktown, Westmead Private and Norwest Private Hospitals. She also participates in the acute surgical and trauma care roster at Westmead and Blacktown Hospitals.

Dr Wong graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1994 and underwent Oral and Maxillofacial training in 1996. She completed her medical training in 2002 and undertook general surgical training at Westmead Hospital. Upon obtaining her surgical fellowship, she spent her post fellowship training in Head & Neck, Surgical Oncology Unit at Westmead Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital.

Dr Tony Pang

DR. TONY PANG

Pancreatic and Hepatobiliary Surgeon
BSc(Med) MBBS(Hons) MBiostat MS, FRACS

Dr Tony Pang is a Pancreatic and Hepatobiliary Surgeon with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery.

He graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2004 and undertook surgical training at Royal North Shore Hospital. He then completed further training in pancreatic and hepatobiliary surgery under the post-fellowship training program of the ANZHPBA (Australia New Zealand Hepatic, Pancreatic and Biliary Association). He spent this training period at Westmead Hospital in Sydney and Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore. During this time, he acquired experience in both open and minimally invasive techniques in pancreatic and liver surgery.
